Sometimes I hate it when there actually fashion trends that get so popular it not just becomes a cliché, it actually becomes quite embarrassing to be seen following this so called trend.

For example, remember that fashion trend of using a keffiyeh as a scarf? Okay, it may have started out as a cool, non-conformist trend especially because it actually has some political undertones. But at some point it just became so uncool to be seen with one. I’d rather follow trends when they’re not yet so widespread it has become the norm.
