For this fall it is all about layers. When we shop there is a trick to keep your look slim and polished. Look for lean silhouettes such as cigarette pants, a pair of second-skin jeans or a pair of leggings worn with a slim or softly pleated skirt and lightweight fabrics. A few interesting textures such as knits, tweeds and lace in related colors like grey or shades of brown. Top it with a sweater or two over a blouse then put on a jacket or cape for style.
